Chandra Walker Holloway is a zealous litigator committed to providing clients with effective and thorough counsel in areas of family law, personal injury, and will preparation.
Ms. Holloway’s practice focuses on family law matters including divorce, separation agreements, child support and custody, child support modification, child custody modification, and paternity. She also aggressively represents client who have suffered personal injuries in accidents caused by the negligence of others.
Ms. Holloway graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2001. While a student at Georgetown’s law school, she was a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association Mock Trial team and she was appointed as the Director of the Barristers Council Mock Trial Advocacy Program. She was also a student lawyer in the D.C Law Students in Court legal clinic. She received a Bachelors of Arts degree with Honors from Louisiana State University in 1998.
Before starting her own practice, Ms. Holloway honed her civil litigation and trial advocacy skills while working as an associate for large law firms and as in-house counsel to the Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO).
Ms. Holloway began her legal career as a civil litigation associate with the international law firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, LLP where she worked on several high-profile antitrust and class action matters. She then went on to work for GEICO as in-house counsel. She represented GEICO and its insured drivers in numerous auto accident trials pending in the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland and the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Ms. Holloway continued to hone her skills as a trial lawyer while working as an associate for Bonner Kiernan Trebach & Crociata, LLP. As an associate at Bonner Kiernan, Ms. Holloway’s defended companies in employment, commercial, worker’s compensation, medical malpractice, products liability, and construction litigation cases.
Ms. Holloway now relies on the invaluable experience she gained while defending large corporations and insurance companies in working for individuals and injured victims. Likewise, Ms. Holloway’s commitment to public service has led her to represent pro bono clients in the areas of family law, will drafting, and landlord tenant matters throughout her legal career.
Ms. Holloway is licensed to practice in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Prince George’s County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
